Max is a very young-looking twenty-eight-year-old bodyguard, assigned to guard Prince Lucien at Cambridge University, since he's been receiving some threatening notes and one of the persons they suspect of sending the first letters turns up dead. They decide Max will pose as his boyfriend/swim teammate/housemate as they try to find out who this person is. As time passes, Max and Lucien's relationship deepens, but it all might come to an end when death comes closer than they both would've liked.
I liked Max a lot, although it took me a bit longer to warm up to Lucien, especially when he kept trying to put himself in harm's way and didn't seem to really trust Max's judgment. They did have great chemistry, though, and I loved seeing them together. Seeing Kyle and Ross again in the book was awesome, and I'm really excited that the next book in the series is theirs!!!
The book was good, although personally I'd have liked to have a bit more of an inkling as to who the person sending the letters was, it was a bit out of the blue as it was. Still, this was a good read, steamy and enjoyable!
Rating: 4 Stars!!!
