Everything I have never had is right in front of me. Family, it’s mine for the taking. For the first time in my life, I found stability in the Hellions MC. From the ground up, I’ve been loyal to my brothers.
Now the time has come when I may have to choose between the family I’ve never known or the club I’ve built and given my all to.
Richard ‘Frisco’ Billings is the California kid who rode into Haywood’s Landing when the Hellions were needing an extra man. As an original, he’s been with the club from day one. After growing up with no real place to call home, he’s found solid ground.
All of it crashed around him when secrets were revealed and he found out he missed all the formative years with his daughter being raised in an enemy’s club.
Amy Mitchell was lost her whole life until she was found by the Hellions MC in a bad situation with Felix Delatorre. She spent years with the club, rebuilding her life and finding a place where she could belong.
When a new young woman comes into the home she has with Frisco, will she still fit into his world? Will Frisco find a way to make everything work together? Will this be his final ride with the Hellions as life takes him down a different road?
Catch up with all your favorite couples as every secret finds its way out of the dark and new things are revealed, changing the club forever. This is the final ride for the Hellions MC as we know it.
Here we are, the final chapter of the Hellions Ride series by Chelsea Camaron. Final Ride is book 9 and gives us the story of Frisco and Amy. These two have been on a hell of a ride throughout this series, some of which we didn't get to see until the last book, Originals Ride (so far my favorite book of the series) and I'm not sure about you, but I've been anxious for this story. Every MC series has that one character that you see in every book but just can't quite figure out what he's about. You've maybe gotten pieces of his backstory but until you can see things through his eyes you have no idea how you truly feel about him. That was me with Frisco.
Final Ride picks up right from the last book with the men in Florida on a mission to find Paul and the Fury MC. What they find however brings Frisco to his knees. The woman he thought was long gone from his life is standing before him and she's with the enemy. Even worse she's kept the fact that he has a daughter, a secret she's kept for 18 years and has let another man claim her as his blood.
Now Frisco will have to learn to be a father to a young woman who doesn't trust him. But he won't have to do it all alone. Frisco has the Hellions at his back and a great woman in Amy at his side. If only they can get Shannon to realize that they are a family and Frisco would do absolutely anything for her.
I loved Frisco. He was such a good man, a loyal brother, caring father and dedicated partner. He has his gruff alpha moments but he never tried to be the only one making decisions when it came to his family. He treated Amy like a beloved equal and he was a natural father to Shannon. But the thing that made me love Frisco was the fact that nothing came before his family, it wasn't just talk, he proved it.
Final Ride wasn't only the story of Frisco and Amy, though. Final Ride was about the club and the changes that had been coming from the beginning. It's bittersweet and I am not going to lie, I cried, as crazy as it sounds, I actually cried.
Chelsea Camaron blew it out of the water with this book. I've finished it and yet I still feel it and probably will for a bit. Congratulations, Chelsea on The Hellions Ride series, it might have been bumpy at times but it was most definitely a fun ride!
