Release Date: June 16, 2017

Don’t people know that cats and dogs don’t mix?
Connor Ragbone finds things. Sometimes it’s gold, sometimes jewels, sometimes people. Set in his hippie ways, he never thought he’d find a pack, but with Sam and Gus and their goofy shifter family, he fits right in. Then he finds Brock.
Shifter Brock Herman is undercover alone, working to break up a poaching ring. The last thing he needs is for Connor to wreck his sting. And now the crazy bobcat just won’t go away!
The poachers lead Brock and Connor on a merry chase all over Western Colorado, looking for shifter bears, but it’s a lost pup who brings them back to Nevada and the pack Sam and Gus are building. That’s when Brock has to decide whether he still travels alone or if Connor and his crazy family are where his heart belongs.
This follow-up to Just Like Cats and Dogs is a feel-good shifter romance novel where cats and dogs prove they can be way more than the enemies nature has made them.

4 Stars!

What I Loved: I'm all about Shifter books and I can't help but have a soft spot for romance between a cat Shifter and a wolf Shifter. Especially since these two are so different but fit perfectly together. From that initial meeting and throughout the rest, I loved how Conner and Brock just balanced each other out. They were cute and sexy and it was pretty obvious they worked well as a couple and even a team.

Conner is a finder, whether it be a person or a thing. He's great at what he does, even if not completely positive how it works. Brock works to take down bear poachers and it means having to entangle himself with dangerous people. Both men were lovable, Conner also a little quirky. But in the best way.

What I Liked: It was fun to get a glimpse of Sam and Gus and the life they've made in their new pack and growing family. I really liked them in book one and I'm glad they are living their HEA.

What I Didn't Like: I hate to say this but it's kind of bugging me so I have to do it. Why oh why does the cover have a guy on there that doesn't even come close to fitting the description of Conner? I realize it's probably hard to get a pic of him on the cover and don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with the cover, but it doesn't match the story.

So I was picturing something along these lines :

Anyway I think this was my biggest gripe with this story. Otherwise it was quite entertaining. I found it funny and very low on angst, a nice, easy to read Shifter story in a world where cats and dogs or in this case, wolves, can fall in love and live happily ever after.
