Adam and Luc used to be close. At least they were before Luc distanced himself from Adam at fourteen, then eventually left home. Adam never got over the sting of betrayal, or the loss of his one-time best friend.

When Luc is invited back home to help get his parents’ failing dance school back on track, Adam isn’t sure he can cope with having his stepbrother back in his life. Especially when he discovers Luc’s decade old secret.

Luc left home because he was sure no one would understand that he had fallen in love with his stepbrother.

Convinced that the years of distance he has put between them will have erased his desire, Luc doesn’t hesitate to return home to help the business that means everything to his parents. Confronted by Adam once more, Luc’s past feelings re-awaken. But will revealing his true feelings to Adam heal the rift between them, or drive them even further apart?

I’m torn because I can’t decide how I feel about Luc and Adam’s feelings about being together. I know they have been raised as brothers from the time they were quite young, even to the point of each boy's parent adopting the other. When Luc starts having feelings that are not so brotherly at the age of 14, he lashes out and pushes Adam away, making Adam despise him. He eventually leaves for University and doesn’t return home, settling in the city.

Now, he is back to try to help save his parents' dance studio, but his feelings for Adam haven’t diminished and Adam is completely disgusted by Luc once he makes his feelings known, and it just gets worse for Adam when he discovers that the attraction is mutual.

While the story was well-written, at times I felt a bit creeped out, especially during intimate moments, with the mention of stepbrother over and over. (He pulled his stepbrother to him and kissed his stepbrother's lips, plunging his tongue into his stepbrother's mouth) That’s not an exact quote, but it was things like that that not only weirded me out a bit, but the overuse of the word stepbrother impeded the flow of the scenes, especially the sexy ones, in my opinion. Adam mentions incest on more than one occasion and although these two are not blood related, and in fact, are NOT committing incest, I felt a bit icky while reading, at times.

While not my favorite story from Collette Davison, I think it was more of a it was me, and not necessarily the book situation, and I’m sure plenty, especially those who enjoy twin/brocest, *cough* my co-bloggers *cough* , will probably love it. Still, this was enjoyable and I’d definitely recommend it!
