Tyler doesn’t have many things to worry about in his life. Fully patched in to Areion Fury MC, he finally has a solid spot in the brotherhood he calls his family. When a girl steps up to defend him against the teasing of his brothers, he’s stunned. The moment Tyler locks his gaze with the most intriguing eyes he’s ever seen, he knows with every fiber of his being that this is supposed to be his girl.
Ridley’s only living relative manages to destroy every chance she has at happiness by constantly causing trouble. To protect herself Ridley likes to hide; beneath her raven black hair, her clothes, her shop. Slowly but surely the harassment is becoming more violent so to protect the ones she cares for, she pushes them away. Except the stubborn, handsome biker leaves her no other option but to accept that he isn’t going anywhere.
When you are forced to look over your shoulder all day, every day, it is impossible to live. Can the meeting of two similar souls spark a solution? Will Ridley stand up for what she wants in life and stop hiding? Will Tyler get his happily ever after or will he see it crash and burn?

First off let me just say I am not really familiar with this series or author. I am however a huge fan of MC books. The blurb for Tyler really sucked me in and I had to read it. Let's face it, if it contains a hot biker it's pretty much a forgone conclusion that I'll read it at some point. So what did I think of Tyler? It was...okay. I didn't love it and I didn't completely hate it, but truth be told it just wasn't my cup of tea.
The storyline itself was, again, okay but it didn't really grip me. Tyler was, in my opinion, a bit cheesy. As weird as that might sound it's pretty much the only way I can think to describe it. Some of his dialogue was so bad I had to question whether or not I was reading it correctly. The dirty talk actually made me cringe. And I have to ask, what badass biker calls breasts boobies? Boobies! What was probably supposed to be sexy and arousing I found to be a turnoff. I found it really hard to believe Ridley would find his sex talk hot.
“Hello, boobies. I’m your new owner. I plan to knead, suck and fuck you two for many moons to come. Right now though, I just need you two in my face while the body that’s attached to you rides my cock.” -Tyler
“Listen up, my black-haired goddess... This is going to be hard and fast so I don’t fucking care right now. You’re gonna ride me and get that mouth of yours latched back on my piercings... nipple or tongue your choice. When we both explode and we can move again, we’ll hit the shower. No need for that now. Because right now, we fuck. You’re gonna impale yourself on my cock, so unzip my pants and unleash me.” -Tyler
It really wasn't just the sex talk either. I just never felt the grit that I have come to expect in MC romances. The conflicts seemed a tad contrived. We get to see the typical biker groupie:
Turns out, she’s one hell of an artist and kind of a ho. I don’t mean any disrespect, but shit... She’s been in town for like four days and already fucked six of my brothers. Three at the same time, including me. Well she kinda gave me one hell of a blowjob. By kinda I mean I only let her suck the mushroom tip while tugging my own dick. With three dudes filling her up at the same time, it’s hard to focus, so I needed to take matters into my own hands or so to say.
But we don't get the typical animosity between her and Ridley (which was actually a refreshing change).
We get the typical caveman antics from the guys with their women but it wasn't that Super Alpha gonna protect his woman attitude that is generally part of these stories.
My eyes stay on Tyler. His back straight, shoulders thrown back, arms crossed in front of his chest, and his legs somewhat spread... oh, and let’s not forget about that bandana holding his spiky hair out of his face... it’s like a vision of my personal Rambo. Oh, God. I can’t believe myself. I’m swooning over my boyfriend while he’s trying not to kill my brother. -Ridley
I definitely think the story had potential. If it weren't for some of the dialogue and Ridley's propensity for walking away every time she got pissed off at Tyler not to mention the overabundant use of the word "Ho" I probably would have enjoyed it a whole lot better.
